Dr. Ashlynne Kim

Optometrist in Riverside, California

Dr. Ashlynne Kim grew up in Orange County, California. At the University of California, Irvine, she majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Psychology & Social Behavior. She then attended the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.

She completed rotations at the Veterans Affairs San Francisco Medical Center, a private practice in Colorado, community clinics, and the Veterans Affairs Central California Medical Center. There Dr. Kim furthered her education in primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatrics, and binocular vision. She served as co-class president for her optometry cohort, a Berkeley Optometry Ambassador, and a leader of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She participated in a mission trip to Nicaragua, providing eye exams to underprivileged communities through Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.

In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her Golden Retriever. She also enjoys weight lifting, singing and guitar, and serving as a small group leader in her church.
